Looking for the best digital rear view mirror - most clear widest viewing angle best at night etc - don’t plan on using it to record just want the best picture.

Great question! The only reviews I have seen the reviewers received the product free and don’t really include any comparisons to different brands. Maybe suggest it to the farm review channel?

Why can the Cybertruck use it's rear camera for a mirror but we can't use our camera as an additional mirror?
Is there a way to keep it on?

I'll be working on a comparison as soon I get some time.

Everything leads me to think that Wolfbox's implementation should be superior to my Brandmotion mirror, but we'll see.

@Swatsv2, note that the incredibly wide field of view of my current mirror is one of my biggest complaints about it. Everything is incredibly small, so you can't really differentiate between someone right on your ass and someone significantly behind you.

With my Tazer I can double tap the radio mute button and make the rear camera pop up anytime I want.

I tried one for about two weeks. There was so much incidental interior reflection and screen glare that it was useless a lot of the time.

However the stock rear view camera is a fisheye lens. It's very difficult to accurately judge distance with it. Everything looks WAY further away than they actually are.

I thought this would be a great Tazer feature but I concluded that while the rear view camera is great for a parking lot or a tight spot on a trail, it is nearly useless for the road or highway and can lead to bad decisions.

Does it stay until you turn off? No tazer here but I can touch the rear camera jeep icon and it will come on for about 30sec or so then goes off. While driving that is.

I have an AUTO-VOX T9Pro sitting here waiting to be installed, I just need the Jeep-style mounting arm to arrive that they had to ship separately from China. It's narrower than the Wolfbox so it shouldn't interfere with the visors and it uses a separate front camera so that the ACC box isn't in the field of view. @yarmo has already installed one and seems to be very happy with it in this thread: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...g-a-digital-rear-view-mirror-dash-cam.124438/

Note that he started with their V5 model then towards the end of the thread swapped to the T9Pro as an upgrade.
