Someone above asked about fluid volume in F&R Diffs.

JL Wranger Differential capacity:
186 FBI - Front Axle 1.82 Pints 80w-90
210 FBI - Front Axle 2.18 Pints
200 RBI - Rear Axle 2.43 Pints 80w-90, if towing 75w-140
220 RBI - Rear Axle w/ EDL 3.06 Pints
220 RBI - Rear Axle w/ T/L 3.02 Pints

186 FBI (Model 30) - Front Axle
MOPAR Gear & Axle Lubricant (SAE 80W-90) (API GL-5)
1.82 Pints/0.86 Liters

210 FBI (Model 44) - Front Axle
MOPAR Gear & Axle Lubricant (SAE 80W-90) (API GL-5)
2.18 Pints/1.03 Liters

200 RBI (Model 44) - Rear Axle

How do you determine which model of differentials your JLU has? It doesn't indicate which you have on the window sticker. Mine just says Trac Lok differential rear axle.

How do you determine which model of differentials your JLU has? It doesn't indicate which you have on the window sticker. Mine just says Trac Lok differential rear axle.
Trac Lok is the rear 220 with LSD. 80-90 and friction additive. EDIT: unless you have the tow package. 75w-140 and additive.

I always use VALVOLINE 75W-140 SYNTHETIC for all my jeep differentials--

It was recommended for my '08 JKUR and that's what i use in my JL-
