Hi, I'm trying to decide between Ace Engineering rock sliders or Barricade rock sliders (https://www.extremeterrain.com/barricade-rock-sliders-2018-jeep-jl-2-door.html) for my 2 door JL rubicon. It seems that the Barricade is very similar, where the rubi rails can be retained. Big price difference so if anyone has the barricades your opinions would be appreciated!
The biggest difference would be the originals are Made in the USA with American steel by American workers.

The knock-offs are made .... somewhere else.

A few features of the ACE Sliders:

• .134 Wall thickness, thickest in the industry
• Works well as a step as well as being a great slider
• Works with or without Rubi Rails
• 100% Made in the USA by American workers with American Steel
• Lifetime Structural Warranty, break them while offroading and we'll replace them

Thank you,

Thanks for the response! It's a bit over my budget right now, but I'll probably save up for them. Right now I can only afford around $350. Thanks again!

I can testify to strengthen of the ace sliders, I have run a very loaded JLU with most or all the weight on the sliders across massive granite boulders in California and ledges in Moab.

Barely a dent in them. If you want something for looks buy something else, these things are string as hell.

I would also agree, although you might not find a difference significant enough to warrant the price difference, if you're looking for the better quality product, and superior fit and finish I would most definitely purchase the Ace sliders.
