lol this actually wasn't the blue I thought it was nor wanted. I didn't really want the teal tint, I thought it was more like the Chief blue, kinda like a sky blue. But I'm happy with what I got now. Looks really pretty in the sunlight

You got the right color, it’s a beautiful blue.I ordered my 2022 JL Unlimited Sport S in February. I built it all out on the Jeep site, chose Hydro Blue Pearl-Coat based on the pictures on the site. That's pretty much the whole reason I got this car is because I loved the color:
This to me looks like a light blue. Now I'm seeing images of Hydro Blue wranglers online and it is NOT this color, it's more like a navy color blue. I'm gonna be driving quite a few hours to go pick this up when it comes in, have obviously put a deposit down ... am I not getting the color that I thought I was getting? I'm gonna be so sad if I show up and it's a dark blue
Some of the pictures I see look much darker and some of them look like the right color. Are there multiple types of Hydro Blue?
It's pretty nice. There's some light padding to it and the material is well made poly/nylon. No snags, no pilling, no fraying. And, most importantly, no sticking to it with bare legs and no sweaty butt in the scorching heat of summer (important in Florida!) I find them quite comfy. And they clean up pretty easy from dog spit and such.
I did see you mention your frustration on the install in your build thread lol. But hey, that's better than some of these seat covers I've seen where some of the seat pokes through and you can see it. I definitely will be happy with a tight fit. I ordered the full set. Now waiting to see how long it takes to get here haha
Awesome! I hope you love them! Mine took about a month or so, I think, but that was during the height of the pandemic. Hopefully ship times are faster now.
I’m with you, I would never buy a color I’m not familiar with or haven’t seen in person, hell even in person they can be tricky due to lighting and surroundings. I’ve driven all over just to see some colors, including the tan leather. Buyer beware when it comes to color!

I worked in Kitchen Design for nearly 20 years. One of the places I worked was a *very* high end builder in the North Shore Chicago suburbs... where a tear-down would cost $2m... our clientele was very wealthy, were used to getting their way... and very litigious. We *used* to do computer renderings, with a notation at the bottom "artists rendering" with some legal babble... and we still heard complaints from some... after a bit they changed it to black and white.
Did you end up liking it? I wish they didn’t discontinue Chief blue.Damn. It's definitely not what I thought it was going to be. You guys are right, there is the ocean blue which is way darker, and this looks to be a more medium blue. What the website kinda depicts and what I expected I guess is more like the Chief Blue. I'm really bummed now.
