Dealership dented my hood *&^%$

Didn't have a good feeling about the two weeks my Jeep was at the dealer. Small dent on hood. Can paintless dent removal be done on the aluminum hood?

My hood had a few hail spots when I bought it. It took them less than an hour to fix them before I took delivery and it's been good for 5+ years.

Dealer scratched the hell out of my fender years ago. Looked like they drug a metal clipboard across it.
Made them fix it. I had to fight to get it done but they did it.

Mm. This is the second thread in a week that makes plain the unignorable damage caused by dealer employees while the vehicles were in their possession. Do they honestly expect the owners to not see nor say anything about it?

Full disclosure: There were similar and very evident deep scratches in my YJ's engine bay after the short block was replaced under warranty. I said nothing at the time because I knew I'd be asking Jeep to repurchase the vehicle, which they did a little while later.

The pic makes it look like a repair and repaint from here, but it is a crappy pic.

I think techs sometimes don't say anything because they know the service writer will take the heat for it from the customer, no matter what. And maybe it wasn't the tech. Lot attendant, detailer, or someone else in the service lot could have done it. The service writer may not see the car once it goes in for service so they have no idea it happened.

If I ever have to take my Jeep to the dealer for maintenance, I will be video taping all the surfaces after I get to the dealer, but before I turn the keys over to them...
