Looking at the LOD signature, they appear to mount exactly like the Smittybilt… there are optional bolt holes but I don’t see how these help with the stability of the slider.
Those sit about where I thought. Which is something I’m looking for. Amazon, red rock and quadratech all have sliders that sit super low and you can see the pinch seam. I like the aesthetics of the Smittybilt but not loving this story of how easy they flex. I don’t plan on any crazy crawling...
Do you think the stock Rubi rails would have caused the same damage or would they have handled it better than the smitty? How low do the smittybily sit? Doesn’t appear any lower than the frame itself?
Also @Red19 looks like the Amazon and the steps in the link you sent hang really low. You...
So you get what you pay for. I got it. The thing is though, some of these “cheap” companies are making quality stuff. Which one is good vs the bad is the real crap shoot and some of them come from the same factories that make the big boy stuff.
I’m looking at the Smittybilt 77634...
Just over 2 years now.
So far so good. Had some dings in the tow hooks out of the box, hit it with some rust reformer spray paint and hasn’t shown up since.
If it ever was to show rust, a quick shot of spray paint would fix it real quick.
Hi again.
I went from 33“ BFGs to 37” Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
How do the Nittos compare to the BFGs in the rain?
Some roads they feel like any other tire I’ve ever had, some roads they feel like they are stickier (if that’s even a thing).
I’m running them at 30-32 psi.
What’s your opinion on...
It would appear that these are terribly difficult to find.
I see a few vendors with them over retail price and on amazon.
Can anyone tell me if these are worth tracking down for my 21 JLUR Or know what’s going on?

Haven’t done it yet but thinking or mounting an I bolt to the ceiling in the garage above the spare. Then using a ratchet strap and soft shackle to lift the tire up. I generally park in the same place while rotating/oil change so it should be Close enough to lift the tire back on the carrier...
99% of the time it’s clean and pristine.
the winch is there for that time I actually needed it.
glad I have a winch, even if it doesn’t get used often. It’s a mall crawler until it’s not.
