Well the big 3 strike has hit the dealership I use here in Michigan. 70 dollars for a air filter for a 20 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L. WTF. I can see maybe 40.

$69.10 is the regular full MSRP for that part. Likely just Mopar/OEM parts being more expensive from the dealer, and usually more expensive than aftermarket equivalents (not always).
The price of that part really hasn't changed at all in years..
Don't believe that part will fit his 2020 Grand Cherokee. Kinda the same reason I didn't hyperlink to a part that wouldn't fit our Wranglers, since people read 3.6L on a Wrangler forum and wouldn't assume the guy's talking about a different model entirely.

Wish more people understood this and were ready for it when they go to the dealership for anything. Because that’s all it is - another dumb excuse for crazy dealership prices. You mean "strike excuses have hit my dealership".
Stop buying that stuff at the dealer!Well the big 3 strike has hit the dealership I use here in Michigan. 70 dollars for a air filter for a 20 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L. WTF. I can see maybe 40.
My bad, for some reason I had Wrangler in my head and NOT 3.6 Grand Cherokee. The 3.6 GC genuine Mopar filter looks to be $50 and change. BUT myself I see no reason to stay MOPAR for a filter. I would buy a reasonable non Mopar filter for that. MOPAR did not make it, it was made by someone else and marketed as Mopar.Don't believe that part will fit his 2020 Grand Cherokee.
