I brought my jeep to the dealer again citing loose steering and 1-2 inches of steering wheel play. He wanted to spec everything first and set toe and castor and whatever else since I have a 2” Mopar lift.

To my surprise he increased my castor without adjustable control arms or anything else??? How?

The steering wheel play and stray-dog wandering still stands unfortunately

I’m not seeing where castor was changed
It’s the first time I’ve looked at any alignment reports but did it not go from about 4 degrees in the first sheet to 5.5 degrees in the new one?

You have the steel steering box? I have the mopar lift. I installed a steersmart drag link , track bar and tie rod. I also added a sector shaft support. Drives great. Did it in my garage

I do have the steel steering box yes.
I added adjustable track bars front and rear, that’s it for the time being. Dealer replaced worn out drag link a couple months ago
Dealer has me thinking about a Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer though to tighten the steering up

This Jeep was really light and the front end wasn’t planted on the road from when I bought it stock.

Does yours have steering wheel play, there’s an inch or two and I’m constantly correcting my wheel on the road within that 1-2 inches

Alignment racks have to be serviced and calibrated too. No 2 will give you the exact same measurement. I tend to do my own these days, but if I were to take it in, Id look for a shop that has a Hunter rack and ask when the last time it was calibrated.

Ok when he calls tomorrow I’ll ask him if it’s calibrated, better chance that the first shops wasn’t

Mine did. The steering stabilizer isn’t really the answer. I do have the fix stabilizer. I just think the stick front end components are not strong enough to handle the lift. Also the steersmart sector shaft support was an easy install and made a noticeable improvement

Control arms are fixed and non-adjustable on that lift unless you have aftermarket

2nd printout looks like a Hunter printout to me. We have a Hunter rack in my work and the printouts are the same.

I had lots of play and dealer told me my steering box was falling off the frame 😂

they tightened it up and I was on my way. Metalcloak sector shaft brace is on my to do list.
