Got my MC jounce bumpers in…… rears were the first suspension mod I’ve done with my bare hands no tools, ? …. The fronts … different story….?

Did you go back with originals or longer in rear? I think I need to add some longer stops both front and rear

Nah, I went with MC all around, the rears are about 3/4” longer and the fronts are about an inch longer…..

Almost finished swapping my front springs! I think they sent me the wrong size ???

Took it out to one of my test facilities to try the new bump stops, and a group of Toyotas showed up….

I asked them if anyone wanted my parking spot, but no takers… ? .

These new bumps are a lot better than my oems. When I’m drooped and stuffed the axle is on so much of an angle that the bump only catches a corner of the pucks….It’s hard to see, I couldn’t get a very good shot of it but if you look close you can see the oem barely hit and I had to add a 1/2” puck to protect the shock….

The MC bump hits more of the puck and kinda conforms to it….also it doesn’t compress as far as the oem so I’m gonna pull the 1/2” puck back out…. The rears hit and compress less also, so I’m gonna pull the 1/2” puck out there as well……

They also worked a lot better at speed over the washboard and pot holed trail as well…. Seemed to be less harsh of a hit on the whoops….. All in all, these MC jounce bumps work as advertised and I would definitely recommend them…..

Took my 2018 Ram work truck to my buddies to change out the oil cooler/oil filter housing….. when I changed the oil, I noticed the bottom of motor and trans was wet with oil…. It’s the same motor as my Jeep (3.6) , so I’ll keep an eye on it….Truck has 113K on it though…..

Now there's a job I've done more times than I like. I had two buddies within like 6 months of each other have a quick lube place wreck their cooler/filter housing. The designer of the intake manifold and all the damn clips and brackets on it is a masochist.

Took my shocks off in front to look over the upper mounts and found a scratch on my shock, apparently from the upper coil housing when stuffed…..So I clearanced it some……well I didn’t get both sides exact enough for my ocd so had to slice a little more on one side…..it’s a good thing I have surgical skills with the sawzaw ……

Well this where me and Colby are now…. posting these kinda mods…… ….

It blows being finished with phase 1 of my build. It sucks the worst when I’m working on a lift or steering or gears or whatever…it makes me want to do something to mine…?

Phase 2…is tons, 4Ds, and coil overs/bypasses etc… so it’s gonna be a minute for the next phase….but It’s so dialed in right now, I’m almost afraid to go to the next stage to be honest….? ….

So this is where we’re at… does anyone have any recommendations for sill guards and screen savers…..?
