She’s 5 years old today…..can’t believe it…. I’m very thankful and fortunate to have gotten one of the good ones the first model year……..I enjoy working on it and using it as much as I did when I first got it….actually more now that I have it built the way I want it…

Thanks and a shout out to this board and my buds for all the tips, shortcuts, and ideas,…. appreciatecha! …..?

The plan as of right now, is to keep her… the way things are right now, I wouldn’t want to buy another one just yet anyway…..so a hemi or Chevy swap, tons, 40s, bypasses/coil overs are all on the table…?

Nothing major, couple little things….. the D rings are turning pink ( gotta love the FL sunshine), so decided to black them out…. I kinda like it, the wife not so much….. they’ll probably end up red again, but gonna roll like this for a bit……

Also cleaned the catch can, turns out it really didn’t need it. But it’s been 15K since I cleaned it…. Gets emptied every 5K… that’s the key to running with a catch can successfully, keep it clean and empty…..

Been 5 years now, “it’ll buff out” windshield banner was fun, got a lot of comments on it, but it’s time for a change……decided since my RK suspension and steering has been absolutely flawless for the past two years and one year respectively I’ll show some support…….

Wanted the sticker to match the Rubi sticker and Don @pixeldecals did not disappoint…..he and his company are definitely next level… quality and customer service is second to none and I appreciate them hooking me up……

Thanks brother…… yeah, I’m just being lazy… ? ……. I’m making sure there’s no interference with the RK steering, there’s a ton of room with the EC, but I’ve been tweaking the location of the tie rod clamp for the Fox to make sure that it doesn’t rub at all in all different situations… I’ve got it dialed in now,… which brings me back to the lazy part……?

It’s all good man! I was wondering if I should switch to a conventional SS or leave it as is. No real complaints on my Jeep. Only that steering and turning takes a little more effort compared to a regular SS.
to be fair, my caster is in the upper 5’s, so that’ll make it that way.

Ugh……. Got the covid Friday, being a very giving person I shared it with the wife .??

..So we isolated for Xmas….?

We’re both on the mend, no worries…..
