Hey Roky, I wonder if he took some time off after all the craziness of EJS, Moore and then Jeep Beach?
That’s my guess, but I did hear from him while he was at ejs…..we’ll see if I hear anything this week… Not a big deal, I just want guys to be able to run these bars if they want to without being disappointed to have to work at making them work like they should……they’ve got a new bracket to raise steering stabilizer coming out, now if they would offer a bushing for the knuckle side of their drag link so guys aren’t driving around like this…

Then everything would be right in the world…….?

Well here’s JPs response to my email…….

“We have a small amount of antiwobble in the drag link. +/- 12 degrees. That allows for full axle droop with the axle pulled all the way back on a mid arm. What you are seeing is 100% normal. If not, it can bind and create issues you don’t want to see.

So I’ll be on the lookout for catastrophic failure cuz I’m leaving it on there….. ?

The devil…? is opening his doors and windows to let the heat out down here, so this is probably the last nice weekend for a while…..played hooky Saturday and took her out in her birthday suit one last time, (comfortably that is) and made sure the new rubber bushing wasn’t causing any problems…..

Where/what highway do you enter to get to that spot? I will be coming from the Sanford area.

There are several ways in… If you’ll be coming across on hwy 44, just take that all the way through town like you’re going to Crystal River and take a left on trail 13. There’s a light there and the road going the opposite way is Kensington. Take 13 to trail 6 turn left, then take a right on trail 11 and it’s right there……that’s the easiest….

Is anyone else running into clearance issues with the frame?

That’s new….lol… I’m not having that issue, and haven’t heard of it till now…. Yours looks like it’s closer to the pitman arm than mine making the bolt higher. Also are you on a 2.5” lift ?

I just had to re-tighten the nut as the frame contact loosened it. Now it really pops when returning from left lock steering. Probably going to have to replace the pitman arm. Or maybe I can sleeve it. Oh,and I'm that crazy bastard running a 2" daystar puck spacer on stock springs.

Yeah, 2” and soft springs probably not helping…

I don't think lift height will really change anything, as the issue is clearance above the pitman arm, which wouldn't change with taller or shorter springs.

Yeah, that’s right, I’ll get some measurements of how far I’m from the frame, and the gap under the pitman arm for you in the morning
