How did the rear axle shafts look? Any sign of damage running heavy 37s for many miles, and offroad use? I know you are not rock hopping but curious how they are holding up.Finally got a weekend off…… started my gears……?

Got the rear gears done, working great, turns out , I “do” have an 8 speed transmission…? …….gonna do front next Saturday …wanna give a shout out to Shawn (@chevymitchell ) for answering a few questions, he was a big help…..thanks brother…..

Nice job! Is this your first DIY setting up gears? Got my Artec axle trusses on today, along with the front gears….Will finish up tomorrow. When I bought my gears Marcus had Dana gears but only one Dana master install kit, it was for the rear, so I used a Yukon master kit for the front…. Absolutely no issues, actually Yukon supply’s a tube of RTV. So if you’re doing Dana gears and can’t get the master kit, don’t hesitate to use Yukon… I’m not worried about the FAD anymore…..Piece of mind, like when you installed your winch..
