I just got my Jeep last Saturday. On my way to the beach (120 mike round trip) I head a rock hit the windshield. Today unnoticed the crack. Odometer reads 223. So it happened at about 150 miles and 7 day. Glad I got the $50 glass. Now I wish I paired $599 for the diamon protection the dealer tried to sell me for $599. It included unlimited glass replacement. The lol call them tomorrow to see if I can still get it if I replace the windshield.

I don't like this club. Never had to replace a windshield in 30 years of driving including my old TJ. So naturally, only 1,000 miles into my JLUR, some elderly man driving to lunch doing 45mph on the highway, in an old Camry, kicks up a pebble that cracks my windshield for 10" before he cuts me off to get to his exit he's about to miss. Anyone have any better luck with a dealership or Safelite in regards to a speedy replacement? Thinking the dealer since I've been waiting to get my sometimes working backup camera checked out.

1800 miles in, and i'm now part of the club. Florida jeepers, did y'all know that with comprehensive coverage, there is no deductible for replacing the windshield??? Waiting to get mine on Tuesday! Hope it's the right part number.

If you drive a wrangler, and some point you are going to replace a windshield. If you drive a wrangler for a long enough time, you are also going to replace a radiator.

I joined this crappy club 27 days after I picked her up. Some douch on a cellphone weaves into the shoulder on the highway and bam. I’ll be keeping an eye for that gorilla glass windshield!

Within this ad it notes there's a 2 year warranty on the windshield but there's an asterisk so I went to the Mopar website to dig deeper. Below is the specific section about the warranty as it applies to the Gorilla Glass windshield:

Mopar warrants your windshield from damage associated with road debris such as pebbles or other small objects which may cause initial damage larger than a US quarter (1 inch/25mm) and less than 3 inches/7.6 cm. Larger instances or smaller blemishes, along with the subsequent cracking that may be caused by not repairing them, are not covered by this warranty. Dealer requires proof of purchase and windshield will only be repaired or replaced under the warranty once within the warrantable period. WHAT IS NOT COVERED: Damage caused by any other force such as an accident, large debris, fraud, falling objects or other acts of God are not warrantable. Driving down the interstate, 40 mph wind gusts, about 45° out turn on heat to "auto" then five minutes later "tink" the windshield cracks, no one in front of me for the last hour. Big L shaped crack. Then after plotting how I was going to make Jeep fix it, a foxing rock kicked up by a slow right lane hugger zing's a crack in a different part of the windshield. Figures.

12 days....I've had my 2018 Wranger jl for 12 days!! Bad crack right across the drivers side...ugh..what is the going rate for getting it replaced? Insurance is not an option I have a $500 deductible

Figure between $675 and $825 for the installed window.

Were it me, I would use Safelite Auto Glass.

Be sure you/they order the correct windshield.

DO physically look at the windshield they have for your JL, before they install it.

IF, if it has two antenna hook ups at the top of the windshield, tell them you will not accept this windshield and for them to get the right windshield. Correct windshield does not have antenna connectors. YES, the windshield will fit but it is not the right windshield.
