Azure is currently at the Jeep dealership jail.
Since I bought it, I've had an issue where I sometimes have to slam the clutch to the floor to get the clutch position sensor to recognize that I'm in fact pushing in the clutch. Or it's the clutch interlock switch. Which is why it's in for warranty work, after 20k miles over the last few months it finally got cold enough where it took me about 10 minutes of shoving the clutch to the floor to get it to start.

So, with 16k miles left of my factory warranty, I'm wondering if anyone has successfully created a clutch bypass switch? I can't find dick all about it on any sort of JL related forum. TJs and JKs both possessed the ability.

That said, I know that there have been successful remote start installs in JL manuals...so it's gotta be possible right?

...Right?

I did. Here is a video of it working. It only works in 4low however.

I tapped into the sensor that is on the master cylinder, ran it to the momentary switch by my ignition. Grounded the other end.

You don’t have to stall it first?

And do you have a write up on it by chance?
