Yeah, working under there is a bitch, too, but not having to fish wires through to the engine compartment is nice. This auxiliary wiring is something the Wrangler should've had years ago. Better late than never, I suppose.Ok, I'm going to go look again. I'll let you know...I feel like Mr. McGoo under there. I can't see.
The thinner red/white wire is constant power. That's what I've got mine going to.Mine only has one. I'll try and get a pic. So, I'm guessing mine doesn't double back. If that's the case, which end should I start pulling to find the loose ends?
Edit....GOT IT! Thanks, @Spank ! Now to decipher which goes straight to power. I don't think I want to use up a switch....well, maybe. Maybe the button is good for this application?? Hmm.
Lol!!!Dude. Awesome.

Love it Dan W. Screw it right in - perfect location. I saw some photo posts around where the mic was handing on a bungie cord from the rear view mirror area. Not sure what the set up was but if you don’t want to drill it looked great and easily accessible.![]()

Done! Pics coming momentarily....
No, it is a stick on. This thing is much lighter than my phone, so we'll see how she holds up. I'll fix it if it doesn't hold. That flat spot was put there intentionally by Mark Allen for microphones. I'm a little surprised they didn't reinforce it better.Looks great! Do the screws go into the back panel as well(Rubber handle area?) If not watch out for the trim panel separating from the handle area.
I had my phone sitting there with a magnetic stick on mount and noticed the trim starting to pull out from the weight of my phone. I pulled it off so it wouldn't get worse, but now I have a slight gap between the handle and that matte bezel that surrounds the controls.
Maybe get one of those retractable cord mounts that goes under your rear view mirror. Then, just have it up there when in use. If it stays facing you, the height and position will help you to hear the speaker. Those Cobras are great, btw. I've got one set up as a portable rig that I loan to friends who have no CB when we trail ride. I now I can tune my Bearcat to a full 4 watts, but I'm not sure it is as tunable as the Cobra, which I've heard can put out a little more. How's it going over there, Dan? I've got mine all wired up and got the radio mostly tuned (could use a little more tweaking). I'm just still not sure where the hell to put this thing.

Looks great, I'm ordering that setup for my wife and I Monday. How does it secure behind the bezel? Is the bezel easy to pull off?I used the bracket from Cool Tech. No drilling.
