I mean... no codes on GC, right? You're a tech guy like me... let's assume that's a "known good" part. You've had codes every 4-5 days this month. put it in and see if it comes back this weekend?

Also.... on your JLURD, where the hell is this sensor physically located? I'm curious to get eyes on it and inspect it myself for damage. I've had my arms in all sorts of places under the hood and want to rule out loose connection.
My service advisor said the same thing about "known good" part. The new Bosch sensor didn't help at all. BTW, the idea to swap it with the old one came because the part was on a 3-week backorder. BTW, it's a Bosch sensor that you can get at Autozone for $35ish. I may consider putting the old one back in and see if that fixes it. They did check it for connection back on August 1st when I first had the CEL light; they said it was fine.

Pics attached. It's an easy sensor to get to, although there's a bolt below it holding it in. It was even easier to get to on the Grand Cherokee! 1/4 turn removes it if I remember correctly.

Yep, see that’s exactly the area I was expecting it to be. I pulled my winch power cable around under the hood a couple times before deciding where ultimately I wanted it to live so couldn’t rule out my own fat arms.

also have a 4ga wire going through the super pain in the ass passenger side firewall from my battery to the rear cubby for aux power so was fearing that I could’ve nicked a harness wire there too.

I got it again today. CEL showing P0341 code. This time I noticed my ESS light (the one that shows to service it) illuminate for 3 seconds or so with when the lights came on. Could my dead Aux battery have anything do to with this? My jeep goes in Monday for the HPFP recall, a fuel filter replacement (or whatever it calls for, which my dealer missed at my second oil change), a dual battery test (aux is already dead), and to try to figure out this code again. Any thoughts?

Update: Jeep at dealer. He told me that there is a "star case" on the Cam Sensor fault and that it's being "discussed" with "no known fix at this time". Can we all please keep each other updated here? Thanks!

Update: official publication attached, from my dealer

Another update: check engine light is pretty much staying on at all times now. It’s still code P0341. Cheap is at the dealer and he claims there is still no update. Anyone have any luck with their individual dealership? It’s starting to get hot and I can’t use remote when the check engine light is on.

Well shit. I totally just DM'd you about MOORE this weekend.... if you've got a constant CEL that might be a no-go.

RE: your post, I had my pump replaced 1/31.... not entirely sure on mileage at that time but I'm at 8500 or so now and no issues yet. Expect my "fuck, I shouldn't have updated the post about my CEL" jinx reply by ....friday-ish? That's when I'm leaving for MOORE... so that would be typical.

Any update from anyone? My check engine light continues to come on every single week now. The last time I took it to the dealer they didn’t replace the sensor again. I’m considering going to a different dealer next time.

Asking again; same issues. On and off almost daily now. Keeps me from looking for actual problems. Also prevents remote start from working. Some guys on the JT forum are having the same issue.

@Rusty Shovel : any chance you can add P0341 to the subject line of this thread so people can find it when they search (and google can find it)?

Thanks.

Any chance you still are playing with a auxiliary battery in place and active.

No, I deleted the start/stop battery and pulled the fuse. Thoughts on that?
Up until I COMPLETELY eliminated mine, ( Did not pull the fuse) I would get numerous codes randomly, including full limp mode. The reason I ask you mentioned you went to the dealership and had both batteries checked and they found the aux dead. I'm assuming they replaced it. Jeep knows damn well the auxiliary battery is a complete failure on these JL Wranglers. Yet they completely fail to be transparent on the issues it has caused and continues to cause. If it helps ease your mind at all, several tow truck drivers said Chevy and Ford trucks electronic issues are just as bad if not worse on all the newest models. Emission issues, start/stop, emissions....On and on... politicians jump all over global warming rhetoric causing panic amongst the Lambs. So you get what we got today failure. Good Luck.

Yes, the dealer replaced both batteries under warranty, and then I did the delete so that the aux wouldn’t kill my main again. No issues since. Ironically, my auto start stop only works like once a month, like one single time it will say ita ready, and I’ll push the button. Otherwise, no issues with it, and it never turns itself
On. I don’t ask questions about that anymore; saved me from having to buy the eliminator harness or a second taser (I sold my first).

So, I am having the same issue. My CEL first came on in my 2023 EcoD, around 6k miles. The same camshaft code. My dealer kept my Jeep for 3 weeks and ended up replacing the computer. That got me another 8k miles before it came on again throwing the same code. I'm going to call my dealer later and see what we are going to do this time. I'll do my best to keep you updated.

I've asked the guys on the JTForum to post their actual paperwork where they wrapped the wiring in a heat-proof material that seemed to work. Evidentally this was a fix suggested by Stellantis. I will ask my dealer now if there is any update to the star bulletin S2318000011

update: this is what he got from his dealer. So far it’s working.

Hey everyone, I have hade the sensor issue going on for a while as well. My first attempt at fixing the issue was to wrap the hose in front of the sensor in titanium shield from DEI: but the light returned. Second thing I tried was to wrap the sensor wire in Heatshield Products 281021 Lava Tube Shield. I got this from summit. Lava shield seems to have worked so far. I’m going to keep both to try and keep as much heat as I can off the sensor. I did disconnect the sensor to make sure I got the lava tube as far down as I could over the sensor wire. I did not clean the sensor. I’ll add pictures later.
Also wear gloves when using the Heatshield.
If the light comes back, I’ll update this.
