If you can, post a link to the ECU terminal's, that would be very helpful.
thanks,
Gregj
Best I can tell the terminals needed for the ECU connector are either molex part number 2077131254 or 2077131354. Online they can both be bought for about 10 cents each. However, I found this morning Jeep has officially released a TSB for this repair that states not to remove/replace the ECU terminals but to simply cut and splice I to the existing wires. So I will only be ordering the cam sensor connector and making a harness to do so.

Okay, this is sad to report, but my check engine light is back on every 2-3 days, for the same code. Dealer has it now. And they’re trying to tell me that there “no action” for the code. I told them that it needs to be escalated. I already escalated it 2 months ago. Frustrating to say the least.

So new to the forum here. 23 gladiator with the ecodiesel. Got a check engine light on my drive home from purchase. Great times had by no one. I have had 11 repair attempts on my jeep, have had star involved and had a stellantis engineer view my vehicle a couple times over. If im recalling correctly
Repair 1 change cps
Repair 2 change computer and cps
Repair 3 change trigger wheel (it was measured to be out of spec)
Repair 4 was rerouting the wiring harness
Repair 5 was cutting harness and splicing in a new pigtail
Repair 6-10 involve my auto start-stop not working since the new pigtail
Repair 11 i took to a new dealership which found the pigtail sensor had a high resistance and that was causing my start stop system to not function.

Waiting for repair 12 to be necessary any day now. I Have a lemon law attorney working on the case. Its been out of service for over 4 months if not 5 by now within a year and no one here can convince me any of these fixes work because here i am having done all of them at least once... anybody have any other suggestions or fixes?

Update to mine: After pushing and pushing, evidently the technician still has one more wire or harness to change on mine. It's "on order". Same story, different week.

I'm sorry about your problems. This should be a recall, without a doubt. Please keep us posted; I wish I had better news for you.

But they were super forthcoming and told you that weeks ago when you picked it up from them the first time, right? 😒🙄 I'm about over this vehicle and the shit manufacturer.

If that smug chrysler engineer ever shows up to look at your vehicle, you tell him the orange gladiator from tennessee sends his regards and a middle finger. If you want any supporting documents from my case to give to your mechanic I'd be happy to share... There's plenty of them.

I believe the only reason its not a recall is because they dont have a fix for the problem, only best guesses.

So, I'm showing this code in history even after clearing codes and not having the mil light on. I'm about to go a road trip and thought it would be prudent to get this fixed before leaving. So just to confirm and be obvious - actually replacing the CPS is not a solution; there is no definite solution, though it seems to be related to the wires; and there is no real problem beyond an annoying light, aka no one has been left stranded on the road or damaged their engine. Does that sum it up?

Yes, that sums it up exactly. And I do think if the dealer does the wiring properly, there is a fix. My dealer just got the rest of my wiring in and I will be having it done in the next week or two so I will post an update here. I have not heard of anyone left stranded by this.

Hi Bobholthaus. I’ve been following and commenting here and there on the Gladiator forum for this issue. Wondering if the wiring and parts have shown up and checking for updates if you have any.

I am sorry about the delay. I missed this. They did the second fix but the problem still persist. About once a week to check engine light comes on and then goes off about a day or two later. I am going to open a new case with Jeep and take it to a different dealership.

Has anyone had the fix actually resolve it permanently?

Have not. Mine still has sporadic issues. Trouble starting, start stop not working at all/irregularly. Leads me to believe there is an intermittent issue still but not enough to set off CEL. Hopefully the lemon law attorney gets the lawsuit filed before i have to return this to a dealership again. Fuck Jeep. Fuck stellantis. Never again buying their bullshit.
