I am too, but I’m not noticing any decreased performance or weird symptoms. Just the code when I start it randomly.Guys: I’m still getting the P0341 code with my check engine light every few weeks. Then it goes away. Anyone know of a fix for this?
Mine is the same, although on a 1 year old Jeep that I paid a small fortune for, this should be resolved. When the CEL is on, I can't remote start, which is helpful in Missouri winter weather. And, it's the principal of just having a fix. Anyone who owns a Wrangler knows this story, unfortunately.I am too, but I’m not noticing any decreased performance or weird symptoms. so that’s strange… I didn’t know that the Jeep wouldn’t remote start with the CEL on. I did notice I remote started it the other day with it on and it didn’t seem to start/stay on. Not sure if it tried to crank and then saw the code so it shut back off or if it just said nope. Either way, the next start the CEL was off again.Mine is the same, although on a 1 year old Jeep that I paid a small fortune for, this should be resolved. Usually it starts with the CEL, and then goes off within a few seconds. That’s funny that yours went out on your auto start (potentially) and then started and stayed on next time.so that’s strange… I didn’t know that the Jeep wouldn’t remote start with the CEL on. Where in Missouri are you?
Sending you a PM so as to not clog this thread with STL banter! That’s funny. I actually live in Wentzville but work in Kirkwood. I also just switched to All Star after having a less than ideal experience with Century in Wentzville.
It is really great that you have a dealer that was even willing to try that for you. That's awesome customer serviceYou guys ready for this? I have a 2014 Grand Cherokee Diesel I’ve owned since new. And the 9 year old cam sensor in that is the exact part number as in my 2023 JL. So yes, the dealer took a 9 year old part out of my GC and put it in my new JL today to make the light go off. Voila. I’m shaking my damn head. It pays to go to the same dealer for 11 years now!!
It’s something a good friend of mine, my best Jeeping buddy, suggested. They charged me to do it.It is really great that you have a dealer that was even willing to try that for you. That's awesome customer service
600ft or so and it's been between 30-50 FThose that are having the same codes, what elevation and outside temperatures are you in when it throws the code?
I mean... no codes on GC, right? You're a tech guy like me... let's assume that's a "known good" part. You've had codes every 4-5 days this month. put it in and see if it comes back this weekend?I'm at 465' in St. Louis, Missouri. I have owned this Jeep exactly 1 year this week. I'm now tracking how oftern the CEL goes on, and track the code each time. Since I started tracking, here is my list:
11/17/23 (at dealer for when my dash freaked out - I think the aux battery died this day - P0341 was a code stored that day)
12/24/23 - this is when I officially started tracking it on my iPhone using pics (it's sad when your new Jeep has it's own photo album to store check engine lights and codes!!)
12/30/23
01/14/24
01/18/24
01/25/24
Temps have varied. It usually goes off within a day. I didn't realize it has been happening weekly.
I just checked my records; the P0341 Code was stored on 06/21/23. It was also stored on 08/01/23; the Jeep was at the dealer on 08/26/23 with same code, and they replaced the sensor on 08/28/23. Clearly this has been a big pain in ass.
Do I try putting the 9 year old sensor from the Grand Cherokee back into it?
