The CAF isn't something I normally give any thought to but spent this weekend wheeling in the desert and had dust blowing out of the AC vents. So now I'm thinking an upgrade to the factory filter is in order. See that the K&N is a two piece design. Anybody know if this helps with sealing the fit any better? Seems overpriced, but then it's a jeep part.

I have the K&N, been on some dusty trails without any issues. Then again, I can’t recall an issue with the stock filter.

i used a WIX CAF. During a Mojave trip we had a little more dust in the vent. filter was pretty bad. changed it out and no more issues. i will be changing my filter every 8K miles or less depending on desert trips i do
