Buying mine from out of state, first time doing so with a vehicle. Only thing I'm seeing that is odd is getting the plates for it. From what I understand they will give me a 15 day temp tag, then send a MSO to their county DMV to get title work that will then be sent to me in 3-4 weeks once they get it with another 30 day temp tag. Then I can go get registration/plates. Guess I'll see what that's all about.
We bought our Fusion from a dealer about an hour away. The only issue we've ever had is the local Ford dealer claimed they could not find the Ford extended warranty we bought when purchased. The dealer we bought it from said that was BS, we didn't feel like arguing so took it back there when it needed about $3k in steering work done. The local Ford dealer here is owned by a notorious d-bag though. Crappy thing is he also owns the local Jeep dealer so guess I'll see what they do with me. If he's a pain I'll just take it the next town over to another Jeep dealer that I know is pretty decent (except for not dealing anything under MSRP on an order).
