I believe if it is an imported product customs requires country of origin on the packaging not the product. If a dealer has the item in stock in original packaging it should be on the box .

According to my dealer Pumps are in stock but they are waiting on gaskets for the past 2 months Gaskets - Really they have to be the simplest parts to make and ship.

That is a very similar problem and could be what was done to mine but the tech said that they had to separate 2 harnesses and insulate them to avoid some sort of electrical charge. I have put 500+ miles since the repair with no issues
