  4. Picture Thread: Where I'm At 🤳

This is a picture of the pond at my last house in VA. We bought the adjoining piece of property that was a much smaller beaver pond. I was a fun project taking that to this 3 acre well stocked pond. Sold this and this is my new view in the shadow of the Blue Ridge - big change in view. I...
  5. Where would you live?

We stumbled into a great place in the foothills of the Blue Ridge western NC. It was a small older log home originally purchased as a vacation getaway. The place needed a lot of work and the more time I spent here the more I loved it. Very rural area but central enough to several larger cities...

Take a look at this, https://byrna.com - I just got one for my wife (she would not touch a hand gun) Legal in all 50 states and there are several options for the ammo I don't want to be a salesman so you can look for yourself.

  8. Built-in Navigation is Pretty Damn Bad

I am 100% sure I have a very negative attitude regarding Google in general and avoid using it whenever possible. But I am old and set in my ways. My occasional post here is the extent of my social media experiences. My wife on the other hand will need to have that damn Phone thing surgically...
  9. Built-in Navigation is Pretty Damn Bad

I have a 21 Wrangler Rubicon with the factory Navigation and it works great at no additional cost to me. Just bought a new 23 Silverado Trail Boss that runs on google and google maps - it sucks because you must spend a minimum of $25 per month for wireless. I live in a rural mountain area where...

  13. HPFP Recall Questions

@JeepCares My dealership says they are waiting on gaskets (they have the pump) for over 6 weeks. Is there any way this can be expedited and we can finally get this recall done?
  14. Country of Origin / Country of MFR on Mopar Floor Mats

I believe if it is an imported product customs requires country of origin on the packaging not the product. If a dealer has the item in stock in original packaging it should be on the box .

  17. She seems to be slipping in and out of gear at highway speeds

After a week at the dealer and a bunch of unrelated codes the Electrical guru found 2 TSB's relating to an issue regarding 2 harnesses that needed to be separated and insulated to avoid some sort of electrical interference. That and a re-flash of the PCM and we are good. Why it took 45K for this...
  18. She seems to be slipping in and out of gear at highway speeds

That is a very similar problem and could be what was done to mine but the tech said that they had to separate 2 harnesses and insulate them to avoid some sort of electrical charge. I have put 500+ miles since the repair with no issues
  19. She seems to be slipping in and out of gear at highway speeds

I asked for them after the repair but they never gave them to me. They told me it was STAR case and if I remember correctly it was 2 harness off the main that fed the fuse panels. They needed to be separated and insulated. It didn't happen until I had 43K on the clock which was odd. I thought...
