Envious of those 12" brakes. Our A-frame "offroad" trailer has only 10" brakes and 14" wheels w/ all-terrain tires. The height is good for going over city curbs when necessary, and once had to turn around in a forest road through a ditch so it helped there too.

Those torsion beam axles might appreciate being stored with the weight on stands when not used for a long time. Ours has a straight axle and leaf springs, so it supposedly doesn't care as much.

I bet your paint on the frame holds up better than our "powder coating", which as is typical of aftermarket stuff is flaking off.

Edit: Pay attention to the trailer brake controller power setting. I had ours too light and almost hit stuff. Turns out with the big all-terrain tires I can run the brake controller near max w/o skidding the trailer. I bet you could do the same.

What’s the tongue weight with those boxes in front?
Tongue weight with no interior and completely empty is 145 lbs., just over 11%.
Most of the heavy stuff will be behind the axle so should still be under 200 lbs when loaded. I did a quick weight transfer test and with my 180 lbs sitting on the back bumper the TW was reduced to 82 lbs.
I have the water tank, battery and diesel heater going in just behind the axle which will reduce TW but the rest of the interior and anything I put in the front cargo box should add it back.
I’ve been towing trailers for decades now and have a decent understanding of how TW effects towing and have been paying particular attention while building this trailer.

Nice trailer! I wish I had a space that I could build something similar.

Timbren 3,500 axleless suspension with 6,000 hubs and 12” brakes. Dry weight should be right at 1,600 lbs
