I did some bouncing around one time (Honey Badger)... broke my driveshaft clean. This was at the top of Top of the World trying a stupid line I knew better than to try. Lol. It bounced one time and snap. I thought it was the gearset at first but was relieved to see it was just the driveshaft.I agree with Shawn, looks like it went bouncy bouncy
Are the Brawlee guys on the forum?
I have the Brawlee light and it’s great. I don’t know if he’s still selling them with similar products undercutting his pricing on Amazon. Are the Brawlee guys on the forum?
This picture and experience is why I will always buy a Brawlee for my rigs.
Two Cut vs Five Cut gear setsSet-up looks ok.
This is likely from bouncing a few too many times.
That gear deflection is a real thing. Lol. Looks like a normal failure to me.
37” KM3’s.Those look like 39 KM3s?
I normally don't recommend for anyone to move to Montana but you would be welcomeI'm out here in Pueblo West, CO right off Hwy 50 if you're ever out here and need help.
I went from living in NC and calling this "Out West", too. Then I moved... now it's just Afghanistan with a Walmart. Lol.
Nearly everything these days is 2 cut.Two Cut vs Five Cut gear sets
Curious if these failures can be attributed to the machining process and the proper R&P setup of each style.

That makes this interesting, might have damaged the crush sleeve when you took out the rear drive shaft.37” KM3’s.
Nah, no pinion issues. That makes this interesting, might have damaged the crush sleeve when you took out the rear drive shaft.
You wouldn't be able to tell, I had this happen on a toyota 8" diff. Only found it when trying to measure the crush sleeve with calipers trying to guess a starting point on a solid sleeve and shim.Nah, no pinion issues.
I put in an Adam’s, which was sent overnight to the KOA, and finished Moab, the Rubicon, and then drove it to Texas where I sold to a forum member at a gas station. Rented a car, drove home where I bought Bret’s rollover rig and built Pain Train.
He’s still driving it around Texas.

Not sure if solid spacers are a thing on the m220.
I'd be able to tell, for sure. You'd either hear/feel it clunk or the bearings would be toast. You wouldn't be able to tell, I had this happen on a toyota 8" diff. Only found it when trying to measure the crush sleeve with calipers trying to guess a starting point on a solid sleeve and shim.
