Hey guys..

I went to get gas today and in my country, we have men working at the gas station who fill the tank up for us. We're not allowed to do it ourselves. Anyway, the workers never had an issue with my JL's gas cap, but today I noticed the guy was struggling for a while when locking it and I heard noises. When I left the station, I checked it and noticed something was off.. The cap was loose and the wire thing didn't look right. (my apologies as I don't know the correct terms)

I don't know if this is an issue or if this is a stupid question, but I'm worried it won't be an easy fix and thought I'd ask about it here.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

If or when you install a replacement tether, spray its entire circumference (on the fuel cap) with silicone lubricant. When I did so, it made the cap much easier to turn, in both directions.

Don't worry, it's a common thing, easy to replace. I was planning a trip to this casino in hotel https://casinos-hotel.com/ and it appeared that it's broken in my car. I went to the service and they fixed it in 5 minutes. So it didn't spoil our vacation at all and we had a great time playing casino.
