I have the Quadratec one, can’t compare it to anything else, but it serves his purpose as well. It’s comfortable I can lift it up, move it out of the way, if I don’t want it there.

I actually bought the Red Rock one because the Qtec one was out of stock at the time and I didn’t want to wait to have a place to put my foot. ? No regrets on my purchase, though.

Lol. I waited so long I forgot about it. It was a nice surprise when it showed up. Took longer to unpack it, than it did to install it.

I did the Quadratec one. I like it and glad I have one. My only complaint about the Quadratec one is it was not black, so I spray painted it before I installed it.

I went with the M.O.R.E. Dead Pedal a few years back. Rugged and firm. No give under preassure - Has not moved a whit since instal...

2nd the M.O.R.E. Dead Pedal.
It's nice because it doesn't go all the way to the floor. Which gives you the option to put your foot on it or flat on the floor under it.

Quadratec is on back order. The reviews on the M.O.R.E. all seem to mention that it’s a royal PITA to install - for all the usual under dash access reasons. Some reviewers even recommend removing the drivers seat.

Edit: M.O.R.E. Is out of stock as well.

Another +1 for the M.O.R.E. Dead Pedal. It was the 1st thing I bought for my 2020 JLUR. Have had it on for 3 years now & it is very comfortable & still rock solid. But, it can be a real SOB to install (that ain't Short Of Breath, but you might be after install).

It is very similar to the dead pedal I was used to in my Toyota 4x4, which I have had for 33 years now. So, it was nice to have a DP that I was familiar with.

It certainly doesn’t have to be the best looking if it gives your foot focus and strength ?

The best one is the Quadratec, adjustable and lifts out of the way for easy cleaning, it also does not bend like some of the cheaper ones. Good hunting Rick!

Edit: You definitely do not need to remove the seat, that's way over-complicating the install. They probably hate their wives.

I’ve had the Quadratec dead pedal in two different JLs now and loved it enough in my 19 to get another for my 22. Super easy to install and rock solid!
