Battery Disconnect for Winch?

It’s a piece of cake. Disconnect your current + cable going to the winch and connect it to one side of the disconnect switch. Buy another cable the appropriate length, connect one end to the second disconnect terminal, connect the other side to your battery and you’re done.

That sounds easy enough! I think I can manage that.

Napa has these in stock. You cut your power and ground and add crimp the terminal on.

I believe that amp rating on that switch is only 200amps. I would check the max. amps on your winch. They do make others with a higher rating.

I can’t find an amp rating on that one anywhere. I know mine is over 200 though
