One of my personal complaints is no one has touch up paint pens for the little chips on the front of Jeep. Grill is not a big deal but the hood edge is generally where it chips anyway.
I got a perfect color match (Silver Zynith) from TouchUpDirect for my '24. Pen set for color and clear coat. Highly recommend.

I bravely use mine all winter. Last year we actually had a few days where it dipped below 50°. This week I wore long pants for the 1st time in seven months.

NOPE, jeep lives outside full time and gets use all year in all weather. Besides with the mouse infestation in our garage, the jeep is safer outside where it's cold.
Dude..... you have issues that need correction. NEVER tolerate an infestation, and take care of your equipment, so it can take care of you.

Im not tolerating it but when you live in farm country and the woods rodents are a never ending battle. I also need to gut and remodel my garage since the previous owners did some crazy stuff like put in drop ceilings and lay copious amounts of fiberglass insulation on top, basically creating a perfect storm for rodents. I dont have the time or money to tackle that project right now.

i also take care of the jeep. It gets washed a lot and the underside sprayed down all winter. Probably going to fluid film it before winter this year.

As much as I hate to admit it, I never drove my 1980 CJ-5 in any salty conditions whatsoever, including winter snow. The old girl was a survivor in excellent condition, and the steel sheet metal on those Jeeps seemed to rust much more easily than on modern vehicles.

Since my JL is probably the last Wrangler I'll ever own, I try to avoid salty conditions at all costs, but that's pretty easy to do out here in Southern Nevada. If I absolutely have to drive it in salt, I will, but just haven't encountered that situation yet. If I had some time to prepare for such an event, I'd apply a liberal amount of Fluid Film in every nook and cranny. That stuff is amazing....used it for years on ferrous helicopter components at sea and black powder firearms....works like a champ. Regardless, I don't otherwise baby my JL and drive wherever I need to go...off road or otherwise.

I'll bet I've killed (or found already dead) 100+ scorpions in my house in the last 15 years. [The babies are the only dangerous ones] It's a way of life in AZ.

For a few years I kept my 2008 2 door JK in the garage topless year round...it was a third vehicle for us. But my daughter ended up stealing it so now my garage has my Tentrax and my 21 2 door JL is in the driveway and gets driven year round.

I live in the Northeast, Salt galore in the winters

Have a 2024 392 on order.

My current JLUR is daily driven all year round and wheeled on rocks.

As soon as my 392 comes in, it's getting skid plates/armor and will not only be driven in full salt/winter, daily driven and family second vehicle but will be wheeled in the rocks in the winter etc.
You're keeping the manual too though, right?

Selling it when I get the 392, but don't worry, I'm on the hunt for an older TJ 5 or 6-speed to compliment the 392:rock:

I only own Jeeps and motorcycles. Yeah, the Jeeps get driven and I want more snow then we normally get. Offroading in the snow is fun.
