Congrats on the Jeep! How much trouble has this thing gotten into since its pickup date? lol

It's been so tempting to just drive up these random steep paths we have here. Not even trails, just these paths that must be made by other people thinking the same thing, they don't go anywhere, just up a hill side, then back down. Still fun tho. But I'm positive that the most action this thing has seen happened in the 31 miles that were on it when I picked it up. Kind of trashy of people to do that.

Lol does your town lack good trails? That would make sense for the random up & down spots rutted out. Its hilarious to me to think that off-roaders & Jeepers out there just have to get their off-roading fix somehow. True "Kings of the Hill"

A lot of the time dealers will drive the Jeep 10-15 miles (roughly speaking, this isn't a constant number) as a pre-delivery inspection. So it could mean your dealer has a thorough inspection. A lot of the brand new vehicles we unload from the truck have anywhere form 7 miles - 30 miles. Some vehicles are also randomly pulled during assembly to be test ran for quality inspections ( or so I hear). Then, some dealers let their local hype man take them for a spin for literally no reason other than joy.

Its always hard to know what put those miles on there but if you can't trust your dealer or have had issues in the past, something like this would def point to foul play.

Cool 392! Definitely get it ceramic coated soon - that way the black paint won't put you into the "I'll never buy a black car again" camp.

I picked up my Sting Gray 392 XR on Monday and it's a blast. I need to replace the shocks because I don't like the "floaty feel" that it has. I went to great lengths to build a good suspension for my WJ that could go off road but still feel solid on the twisty roads around my place. Not sure what to go with, but for now I'm really happy with it. I'll get some pictures once it's out of the ceramic coating shop.

Yes, absolutely. I've been debating about a clear bra for the whole thing. Looking for a good shop in so cal. Not sure if it is worth the $6K+. My last jeep is pinstriped from stem to stern, would definitely like to avoid that if possible

You probably don't need the wrap in the front - it might be good, but it's not worth as much as they're charging for it. A good ceramic coat should do fine. They're doing mine with three coats of Ceramic Pro 9H and the price is about $1,500. They also totally wash the car, clay it, and they put the coating on the windows, headlights, tail lights, bumpers, etc. It takes a couple of days to do, but it comes out awesome. I had a Viper ceramic coated and I'll never buy another car without doing that. The price is miniscule in comparison to what it would take to constantly wax the damn thing.

That's awesome, would it protect against rock chips in the front and on the fenders?
