Our 2024 has this issue it seems. I’ve put about 900 miles on it so far. At light throttle/acceleration, 3rd to 4th is intermittently rough, feels like it slams into gear much rougher than any other shift.. When coasting to a stop, 5th to 4th is intermittently rough, same feeling. Under any higher throttle, say more than 25%, shifts perfectly. Full throttle is perfect. Cold, hot, doesn’t seem to matter. However, in central Florida during summer, oil temps aren’t very cold and climb very quickly.

I loathe the idea of going to a dealer. I don't let them change the oil, that’s how little trust I have with them. This thing may force my hand though.
I guess that means we just need to full throttle everywhere we go

I dropped mine off at the dealer last night, they will be testing the valve body. I also left them of the new issue about it slipping or not going into gear between 3rd and 4th. The first time, it went to shift to 4th, and the engine revved like it was in neutral, I let of the gas, it went back in 3rd, I gave it gas, and it did the same thing, on the third attempt, it shifted into fourth. I has don't this to me one other time since the first time, but only one slip instead of two.

I'm kicking myself in the but for trading off my 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie, it was so much better. This transmission issue and the corrosion issue is starting to wear on me, I took it to the dealer couple weeks ago for the corrosion, what a circle jerk that is. They took the photos and said the submitted it to Stelantis, and this was 3 or 4 days before the 5 year warranty was up.

Well, I got a call from the service advisor this morning, and he said I need a new transmission. I asked if he knew what was wrong with it, and he said he didn't know yet, as he was off yesterday, and the tech wasn't in yet for him to ask. I will try to find out when he calls with the ETA on the new trans.

Well, they called back and said that I am not getting a new transmission, the tech was going by a TSB that covers other years, not a 2019. He said I will be getting a D Clutch kit. He said D Clutch controls 4th, 5th, 6th, and reverse.

I am experiencing the same issues in my 2019 Wrangler Sahara with 36k miles. I noticed the slipping and hard shift to reverse so I took it into the dealership who said it needs a new transmission. They never said anything about a relearn or valve like others have posted.

I had it at the dealership exactly 1 week after my warranty expired. I just financed the vehicle last month after my 5 year lease ended. @JeepCares Why are so many having the exact same issue? Can you help?

I got my Jeep back yesterday, the new clutch pack solved the issue. Shifts into reverse smoothly now.

Drive it more.
Yeah, 400 miles... I'm at 800 miles in two weeks, 2024 3.6 shifts unnoticeable since 17 miles. My 23 3.6 seemed every shift was a coin toss.

Just came across this thread. I’ve noticed a bit of a rough shift going from 3rd to 4th at low speeds. Only happens occasionally and only when I’m on side streets or a parking lot driving slowly.

I’ll have to keep an eye on it. I have a 2021 3.6L w/ auto transmission. I’m right about 35k miles and still have about 15 months on my power train warranty.
