I also keep a clean microfiber towel in the console for those early mornings when I see some streaking starting again, I can use the dry towel to buff the glass clean again.

I got one-way glass so I'd only have to clean one side.why would you assume we only clean one window of a vehicle.
That’s a good idea.I also keep a clean microfiber towel in the console for those early mornings when I see some streaking starting again, I can use the dry towel to buff the glass clean again.
I used to detail cars for photo shoots and this was the only thing we found to be streakless and easy to use. We also had a ready supply of clean cloth diapers to use with it. Then again, that was before the micro fiber craze.Hi all,
Found this works rather well:

A clean, soap free white cloth with a hot of water as you can stand to put your hand in... then dry with a clean, soap free white cloth... best kept secretWhat’s the best glass cleaner? I always end up with streaks when the sun is just right at dawn and dusk. Do I need a special towel? It drives me crazy!
I need to get all the salt of my Jeep this week so I’ll be able to try these out. I’ll give this one a go first. It would be easy and you don’t have to buy stuff.A clean, soap free white cloth with a hot of water as you can stand to put your hand in... then dry with a clean, soap free white cloth... best kept secret
Don't worry, the glass will crack and you'll get a new polished piece every few months... No need to clean it.What’s the best glass cleaner? I always end up with streaks when the sun is just right at dawn and dusk. Do I need a special towel? It drives me crazy!
Im on my 2nd windshield. First one cracked in 6 months. Second one cracked 3 months later. I’ve had no cracks in the next 2 years. I figure as soon as I replace the second one it will crack again so I’m leaving it.Don't worry, the glass will crack and you'll get a new polished piece every few months... No need to clean it.![]()
Sprayaway. I work for Safelite. Safelite sells it. I think it's 6.99 a can in our region. Sorry don't have access to verify right now.Exterior:
Safelite glass cleaner. (wish I knew who makes it for them) Was free when I had a windshield fixed several years ago.
It is VERY strong stuff, and it is a spray foam, so it does not run.
One spray can lasts a LONG time.
