Have a 5mo old ourselves, she won't be in the jeep off road for a little but the Mrs has greenlit UWH as the break in for her lol.

Also, where do you get the half inch pucks?

I no longer care about the OPs post, this thread has been hijacked now with little people and his demeanor is too serious for this.

They came as part of my lift from JKS - 2" block plus a couple 0.5" pucks per side, available separate though:

https://jksmfg.com/products/adjustable-rear-bump-stop-wrangler-jl-7ceb380a

Prefer that to just standard 1" pucks, cause you can at least get a little more granular with it. Yes, you can cut pucks down, but I'm lazy and I like that these kind of lock/snap into each other.

My 2.5 year old is due for her first Jeep trip this year. Probably later this summer.

@Remorseless absolutely no complaints on the 39 inch BFG‘s 55,000 miles doing a five tire rotation I think is great. I did re-groove the center of the tires at I think like 45,000 miles, made them look brand new. I even had Costco rebalance them afterwards. 3.5 backspace would definitely help, but I think in the rear it would still require the same amount of pinch seem trimming. The 39 inch BFG‘s were 87 pounds each, when I bought them it was like $412 or 425 each at Costco, and it really surprised me they installed 39 on a jeep. Some places will install them and some places won’t I guess. I went to the Nittos because they are a stronger tire, less expensive, and I have a 38x11.5017 that are only 75 pounds. I also did not want a 13.50 tire in the first place, and on a small vehicle like a jeep I prefer the pizza cutter look.

Dang, price has gone up like $300 on those tires, currently sitting around $700-750. Be a hell of a steal at your prices.

Good to know on the trimming though, I'm planning on running a more standard bump config so I'm sure that'll minimize it some. Currently at 2" or 2.5" in the back and 37s juuuuust kiss the edge of the pinch seam all around, so figure take an inch and a bit off all the way around and play with control arm lengths and that'll get me set as long as I'm willing to keep a bit of bump in the back.

Oompa Loompa doo-ba-dee doo
I've got a perfect puzzle for you
Oompa Loompa doo-ba-da dee
If you are wise, you'll listen to me

What do you get when you cut down bumps?
Trimming so much in big ass clumps
What are you at? Jeep sitting terribly flat
What do you think will come of that?
I don't like the look of it

Oompa Loompa doo-ba-dee da
If you're not cringey, you will go far
You will live in happiness too
Like the Oompa Loompa doo-ba-dee do
