Next time you go shout. I’m about an hour away. Still wheel with our friends from SEVA, but it’s not as often now. Windrock Father’s Day weekend if you want to come along.I was actually shocked, nobody was there dicking around when we were out last weekend, had the rock to ourselves for like 20 min. We only saw really the one Tacoma dude I mentioned that nearly took out his bedside/awning/tent on Rocky Mt Loop and a group of SxS, between like 9:30AM and 2PM.
once again I’ve scrolled to the wrong part of the thread.Man, I must have missed the part where we were jerking each other off. I never come at the right time : (

No, sadly
Roky when he sees a thread about suspension setups and maximizing bump and travel:
I have 2 inch rear springs with 3/8 inch bump stop and 3 inch front springs with 2 inches of bump stop. I ran 39 inch BFG‘s for 55,000 miles and I’m now on 38 inch Nito’s all on the stock wheels with 2 inch front wheel spacers an inch and a half rear. Used to have an inch and a half spacers in the front, but you really need to get those tires out away from the body as far as you can. I also have a one and a quarter or 1 1/2 inch body lift. I know that’s not super popular nowadays but I like it. I shaved the front body mount close to the core support down because the tire was hitting that. I had to cut a little bit off of my bumper I think. I believe I also did some grinding on the grill? I have Ford raptor shocks that have 11 1/2 inches of travel. I had to do a lot of trimming on the rear to keep the body from cutting the 39s. The tire kept wanting to hit the body at the front of the wheel also so a hammer helped out with that. I trimmed the top of the rear wheel well halfway in to the top two plastic pins. Also, I ground away so much of the rear pinch seems that I wound up having like three layers of steel with a little opening in between them and then put some silicone in those openings and then took two hammers and smashed them together to seal up the body again, or maybe I just used pliers to pension together. I don’t remember. I also took a hammer and folded some of the pinch seam inward to seal it back up and get a little more clearance.

Holy cow, unicorn of a build right here, and I dig it. @Mustapha Mond might not wanna be running springs that tall, but your build here is probably the closest I've seen to what he wants in like 4 years of sitting on this forum every single day.Just remember looking at the pictures the rear tire was also hitting the fuel canister thing in the passenger side wheel well so I unbolted that and then manipulated the mounts for it and got it moved up a bit because the tire was hitting it also. So for what you’re wanting to do 39‘s with very little to no bump will rub quite a bit in the back because you won’t have the body lift that I have. And you would need 3 inches of bump with no body lift in the front to avoid bad rubbing.
I'd love to hit Windrock again (last time I was out was right when they bumped 16 from black to double black, dragging my buddy on 35s through there lol), but with a toddler and a sub-1-year-old, it just ain't in the cards for me for like another year. Just Uwharrie for a while.Next time you go shout. I’m about an hour away. Still wheel with our friends from SEVA, but it’s not as often now. Windrock Father’s Day weekend if you want to come along.
OP, I ran 37s on the Clayton 1.5” lift for 50k miles or so and wheeled all over. I did have some minor front inner fender rubbing (cavfab) but had zero issue in the rear with 17x8.5 | 0/4.75" 701s. I had 1” bump f/r (what came with the kit) and I believe the same Fox shocks you have.
I’m now on a bastardized MC 2.5” lift and wouldn’t have any concern clearing 38s but likely would need to trim the pinch for 39s.
edit: you will likely need 3” of bump at least in the rear. Throw in the MC duro thing for the top jounce and “probably” be fine.
It come down to the overall setup and what day of the week your jeep was assembled.

But not quite master level it seems.
