Had a few ask, here are pictures of the Valvomax and ASFIR skid. No where close to hanging down.

Disregard bag on diff housing. Potting lockers and need to keep crap out of then while it cures.

Any tips for the uninitiated when doing your oil changes?

How so? With the Valvomax you just screw on cap with the hose and drain oil into whatever you drain oil into. I prefer to dump mine into an endangered species water supply. ;)

Honestly it's pretty shit simple. I'll carry my OEM plug just incase something goes south on the trail and somehow my skid flexes like 2" at the same time something is sliding by the hole and knocks it. Notwithstanding, it's pretty beefy and can take a hit I imagine.

That's a good idea to keep the factory fill plug in the jeep.

Lol, I thought about painting it, but it would just get trashed and to be honest, you can't see the skid at all unless you're on your hands and knees.
hah yeah. I could say I saw an article talking about painted skids helps your spotter differentiate between your vehicle and the rocks but… did I mention it’s red? :)
I probably should have gone with firecracker.

I have had this same setup for a couple of years now and it still works great.
