We have an ARB single under the passenger seat of the 4xE. It uses the ARB mount which gives it protection from above and a kick panel to prevent rear passengers damaging it. I’ll be doing the exact same thing with the Red 2 door.
My bikini 2 door has had the ARB double mounted on the Grimm mount for a few years now with no issues. I did make my own bracket to utilize a 4xE charge port as the outlet long before these “cheater” kits came out ?.
The one thing I’ll say about the under seat solution is that the instructions state you should run the wire through a floor plug to reach the battery. The hot wire is too short for that mounting location and the firewall plug under the auxiliary battery/fuse box is a much neater route to take.

Just a question about mounting the ARB dual compressor under the seat.

Can you lower the standard manual seat down all the way with the compressor mounted under the seat?
I installed my under the hood on the firewall and ran the compressor hose to an attachment on the bumper for quick and easy access.

I mounted mine under the driver's seat. Yes it lowers all of the way. I made my own mount.

I run the Epic Kraken, which puts the ARB twin under the passenger seat. I was a bit dubious about how close it came to all the wires and junk on the bottom of the seat, so I installed Desert Does It seat jackers front and rear. Now I can pull the seat up and back without snagging something. I also added the AAL kick plate in the back. It's never gotten too hot even in UT in the summer. The Kraken system is pretty bomb-proof, works well, and you get everything you need in one big box (except the compressor).

With the compressor being under the seat, think about your kids, dog or significant other in the jeep while you air up. It’s pretty loud.

I’m extremely happy with my under the hood mount from grimm off road

I have the grimm under the hood set up, and run a high-pressure line to the rear bumper, where my air up bag is, very convenient, very easy to run the wiring, across the top of the engine bay, airing up 35" tires ARB pump gets just gets warm even in a 2.0 turbo engine bay and after full days wheeling. Air filters for the ARB are on extensions and sit at the top of the engine bay for easy cleaning.
Can you share the hose and fittings you used for this? I used the Grimm under fender mount on my wife's 24 but I hate that we have to open the hood to connect the hose and I want to run it to the front bumper.

I don't think you are using your doors correctly when wheeling if the compressor noise is bothering you. You are supposed to leave the doors in the garage.

Have you ever sat in a Jeep while airing up with an ARB dual? It's not very loud at all.

It's actually a lot quieter than under the hood. The seat muffles it a lot. Plus, no one should be in the Jeep when airing up. They should be helping put everything up.

I got theses from Grimm off road, multiple sizes and fittings are online or hardware stores, I just got long enough to reach the back and used an ARB disconnect, also wired the pump into my aux switches

Putting everything up? We're just waiting for the pump and chatting at that point.
