Apex quick disconnect sway bar links installed and tested. Fantastic performance! Turn the blue knob to the unlock position to disconnect (red) to re-connect, turn the blue knob back to the locked position, that's it! Incredible design!

I spoke to Adam N. from Apex; I complimented the outstanding performance and design of their product. I explained to him that I had never heard of Apex sway bar links before, they came highly recommended by a forum member. (Thank you to Bill_P for the great suggestion) I also encouraged them to become a sponsor on the JL Wrangler forum, hopefully we will hear from them soon.

Now that's something I haven't seen before!!!

You got a link to that one? I hope it's not super pricey!

I had them on my last build they are great but likely need to really clearance any fender liner. Main reason not using them this time as they nicer than the rubicon system in that the computer isn’t involved. I can’t find a post clearance shot for some reason…

After a few trial runs: At full turn and not quite full flex the Apex sway bar links are rubbing. I can return them but what are my options? Back to laying on the ground, no thanks. Wheel spacers unacceptable, new wheels with less backspacing, yes, I may go that route. My tires are 255/80R17 pizza cutters on a factory wheel, so this came as an unfortunate, disappointing surprise.

They are very convenient; I'm disconnected in seconds. Sometimes to re-connect I have to push down on the sway bar, not a big deal, still fast and easy. FYI: If you run a factory or full-length bumper, reaching the sway bar may be more difficult. For right now I'm just going to wait and see what happens. Hopefully they don't snap off.

Do you have a Rubicon or a
Sport/Sahara? Never mind. Actual question, shorter or wider axles? I ask because the fitment guide indicates no rubbing on Rubicon/wider axles but Sport axles will rub with stock wheels.

With the factory wheels it is going to just be a backspacing issue. If it makes you feel better mine didn’t get damaged by rubbing on metal liners till we cut some holes..

This is with -15 17x9s or 4.41 backspacing you can see all the room. (13.5 wide tire)

If I didn’t have to cut a hole in the nemesis industries liners (it unreasonably bothers me) I would pull my rubicon bar and swap to those in a second again.

Where did you see that at? I can't find it.

Edit: 8.0" STROKE -

For use with factory shocks including Rubicon, Sport and Sahara models.

Including JK/JL/JT. It's an ideal fit for a Mojave when you're keeping your stock shocks, even when lifted. This shorter link will make mounting easier on stock - 2.0” lift kits. Typically no trimming required on factory wheel wells.

And it’s only at full turn with flex? Nothing at mostly straight with flex? That’s not too bad… I ruled them out because I have a Sport with stock wheels.
SkDmRkLcY

No issues at all while straight not even close. They don't hit or rub my fender flare, no issues at all.

Page 3 of their PDF fitment guide.

Narrow axle Wranglers will have a tighter fit to the autoLYNX.
Following are some options to help ensure there is no rubbing:

1. If running stock wheels (typically 6.00” backspacing) and larger than stock tires, the
tires may rub on the autoLYNX. ...
I have Rubicon takeoff tires, so "larger than stock".
