Now that's something I haven't seen before!!!Apex quick disconnect sway bar links installed and tested. Fantastic performance! Turn the blue knob to the unlock position to disconnect (red) to re-connect, turn the blue knob back to the locked position, that's it! Incredible design!
I spoke to Adam N. from Apex; I complimented the outstanding performance and design of their product. I explained to him that I had never heard of Apex sway bar links before, they came highly recommended by a forum member. (Thank you to Bill_P for the great suggestion) I also encouraged them to become a sponsor on the JL Wrangler forum, hopefully we will hear from them soon.

You got a link to that one? I hope it's not super pricey!
That's not even a bad price considering what it is. Something for the future for sure. I do need to figure out a disconnectable sway bar in the more immediate future though.I’ve had some for almost 4 years no issues.

Do you have a Rubicon or aAfter a few trial runs: At full turn and not quite full flex the Apex sway bar links are rubbing. I can return them but what are my options? Back to laying on the ground, no thanks. Wheel spacers unacceptable, new wheels with less backspacing, yes, I may go that route. My tires are 255/80R17 pizza cutters on a factory wheel, so this came as an unfortunate, disappointing surprise.
They are very convenient; I'm disconnected in seconds. Sometimes to re-connect I have to push down on the sway bar, not a big deal, still fast and easy. FYI: If you run a factory or full-length bumper, reaching the sway bar may be more difficult. For right now I'm just going to wait and see what happens. Hopefully they don't snap off.
And it’s only at full turn with flex? Nothing at mostly straight with flex? That’s not too bad… I ruled them out because I have a Sport with stock wheels.Sport
With the factory wheels it is going to just be a backspacing issue. If it makes you feel better mine didn’t get damaged by rubbing on metal liners till we cut some holes..After a few trial runs: At full turn and not quite full flex the Apex sway bar links are rubbing. Where did you see that at? I can't find it.Do you have a Rubicon or a
Sport/Sahara? Never mind. Actual question, shorter or wider axles? I ask because the fitment guide indicates no rubbing on Rubicon/wider axles but Sport axles will rub with stock wheels.
Page 3 of their PDF fitment guide.Where did you see that at? I can't find it.
I have Rubicon takeoff tires, so "larger than stock".Narrow axle Wranglers will have a tighter fit to the autoLYNX.
Following are some options to help ensure there is no rubbing:
1. If running stock wheels (typically 6.00” backspacing) and larger than stock tires, the
tires may rub on the autoLYNX. ...
