Here’s a couple of pics of the Chrysler EVTS system wiring that shows harness parts supplied by Curt Mfg. Or, contrary to the video, or the idea that it’s a toddlers foot on a brake pedal, or a clown shoe on a tiny clown car brake “peddle”, it’s a symbol of a banana on the button and it releases a tactical trunk monkey.

Yes, rotary phones do have a dial—shocking, I know. That’s how people managed to make calls before touchscreens and voice assistants came along to save humanity.

And believe it or not, most modern brake controllers aren’t stuck in the Stone Age—they’ve got Bluetooth adjustments now. Or, of course, there’s always the bold choice of buying the cheapest Curt unit possible and enjoying the thrilling “no settings whatsoever” experience.
I'm trying to understand what you're arguing for.

Are you saying the button is as ancient as a rotary phone (first paragraph) or that the antiquated button is actually a somewhat modern Bluetooth system (second paragraph).

Maybe you're saying it's a picture of a rotary phone, and that obviously means it's a brake controller?

Jeep is paid off. Don’t worry about the GPS it’s already turned off. 😂

Brake & peddle… 🤔
Is this a Jeep brand peddle car?

Sorry, I couldn’t resist. 🤷‍♂️

Check your prescription on those coke bottle glasses you have, that is clearly a break peddle pictured not some land line phone from the 80s.

That'd make as much sense as anything @Hawknz8's said since he called it a "break peddle".

Maybe English isn't his first language?

Arguing for truth and justice…or something…I don’t know. Heaven forbid you’re mistaken and admit it to some strangers on a Jeep forum. I remember being wrong once, well probably more than once, I might be wrong about that too.

So you custom ordered your Jeep in 2021, 5 (or going on 5) years ago and you just noticed that thing now, in 2026, 5 years later?
