What is this?

I am installing cowl lights and took off the cowl corner on the drivers side. There is an electrical plug under there. What is that for? Nothing plugged not it on my JLURD. Maybe I want something plugged into it.

Used for the Adaptive Cruise Control System ...... If you don't have that option, the cable/connector still is found there... sits there, unused.
