Renderings for the most part never get built. The concepts Jeep build are kind of weird. Most of the ideas and design details never make it to market, even though some of the things they've shown would be super simple to implement and put into production.

I agree that the image in the OP's post is likely a rendering, possibly AI. The related tech continues to improve. We'll soon be at a point where it'll arguably be impossible to make the distinction between a rendering and a genuine photograph.

Don't think that this development won't be used to chase clicks, either. Possibly that's what Motor Trend had in mind.

I’m getting to be just the opposite. They tease us with concepts that rarely become reality. Even when they make a point of them being “50 state legal” indicating upcoming availability. Then nothing ? If these are used again, Ohhh geeeez, raised hopes, just to be disappointed again. ?
