Just installed and set my tire size and TPMS using AEV Procal Snap. Easy peasy. I used a Tazer lite on my last two JLs and the AEV was easier. I know many like bells and whistles but for the basics, AEV does it well.

It looks like the Procal harness bypasses the security gateway by connecting to the green star connector block behind the glovebox, which allows programming directly from the OBDII port. This could be useful.

yes. super simple altho a few have reported they had trouble hooking the harness up to the obd port because they have had trouble with the little locking tabs on the obd port. I have done 3 and never had an issue but i used a little pick to pop them open. I guess one draw back is you can only use it program tire size, lower the psi threshold and calibrate for gearing changes and reset CEL codes. For me that is all I need. my buddy had a few issues using it on his late built 2025 but it eventually worked.

Presumably with the bypass you could use the OBDII port for programming using JSCAN and an OBDLink.

Yeah, their video and instructions lead with small screwdriver but a pick is the way to go.

I've got one new in the box if anyone needs one. It came with my AEV lift, but I used JScan to reprogram my tire size.
