AAL highline led lights

I have a question regarding the American Adventure Labs highline fender lights. I was curious if I could use the tazer mini to have the lights be Amber with DRL and then switch to white with the headlights? For example I have my stock leds location switched to turn signal so the lights are Amber with drl and switch to white with headlights. Will that work with the AAL’s?

Anyone? If anyone has the AAL highline fenders and the Tazer, I’d be extremely grateful if you could try to change the DRL location to turn signals and tell me if it runs the Amber as DRL.. please haha

I don’t see how this would work. The AAL lights wire up exactly the same as the stock lights. They’re just dumb 12v wires. If you can’t to it with the stock lights, you can’t do it with the AALs.

I can do it with stock lights. But they’re two different/separate lights. Driving light and turn signal. I set Tazer to make drl to be the turn signals. So they are Amber when only DRL is on. I didn’t know if the AAL light would work the same way because they are switchback instead of two lights.

Then I’ll flip it the other way to say if you can do it with the stock lights, I don’t see why you couldn’t with the AALs. Try it and see? The AALs are wired to behave exactly as the stock lights and drop in both to led and non-led equipped Jeeps.

Edit: now I see what you mean on the switchback thing. Yeah, I don‘t see it working. At best it would just always flash.

You can't do it with the AAL. It's 2 seperate pieces of hardware on the JL vs 1 on the AAL light.

Also, the DRL trick only works with the LED package.

I asked AAL as I run the amber DRLs.

The JL has a seperate turn signal and DrL white light. The white light is above the amber .

damn, thank you because I run Amber DRLs on the stock LEDS and Amber raptor lights and plan to run the diode dynamicelite headlights in amber when in DRL only mode. Anyone know of a highline Light capable? Rugged ridge, quake, etc.. I’ll start digging.

You'll need to find one with 2 seperate banks of lights, amber and white. I don't think there is a highline version like that out though. If you do find something, please post it up after install. I really like running my amber's as a DRL. I feel it helps the vehicle be more visible.

I have used it on 3 vehicles so far and it has never peeled. It is very pliable with strong adhesive.
