If they did both lights like the Oracle Sidelights, I would be interested. I have the side lights and love the courtesy light and side signals, I just don't like the huge plastic part and prefer this one.

Actually, I think this spring I'll see about trimming the Oracle's down.

You can wire these however you please. They provide 3 wires: 1 ground, and a lead for each of the amber and white lights. I plan to wire the amber to my blinker so they blink with them, and then wire the white to my courtesy lights so they turn on when I unlock my JT. You could also wire the white or amber to a switch so they just turn on whenever you decide to switch them on, which could be great for camp/work scene lights.

The original had these features:

SWITCHBACK - A white running light stays lit while you drive. When you turn on your turn signal, the white light temporarily goes away and the vent light switches over to yellow. When you stop using your turn signal, the yellow goes away and the white running light returns.​

SEQUENTIAL - It is an animated yellow turn signal.​

They didn't do a great job of demonstrating these features in their product images, but then, it's a little difficult to do without using video. You had to know the lingo to realize what all the product actually does.

I suspect the few people who bought this without knowing those terms will be pleasantly surprised when they wire it up. Unless it turns out to be less than 500% brighter, of course. Or they focused on the second product image and wondered why they got this narrow design instead of the beefier one on the product page:

PS: You know what? People seem to like these lights, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger and bought one. I'm telling myself it's "a practical safety device". ?

She wanted a set on her's and I installed them. They also had accent lighting that was bluetooth controlled. Had a ground issue with the pass side where they filckered when the ignition was off. Currently disconnected and I'm hoping to get it figured out when it gets a little warmer. They are bright. Went to the drive in theater and I had to put a towel over it because the guy next to me asked.
