looks great. Z automotive is working on a 4XE update. I will mention to you, if your speedometer is off, so is your odometer and your mileage or mpg calculation. ;) so 15 miles per charge is more like 16.5 miles (my odometer is off 9.4% from going to a ko2 37” tire) But you might want to compare the route driven against a map to verify actual range difference.

We had a teraflex 3.5 inch lift installed by the dealership with 37s. Looks great and is running well. But, they were unable to get the tazer to change the speedometer yet and the battery mileage definitely has taken a hit, seems like it’s down to around 15 miles now on the battery per charge. Bringing it back this next week to get the bumper and winch put on. Will update again from there

With there being a worry about weight distribution on a non 4XE lift, I decided to go with a teraflex st1 spacer lift for now. Can’t wait to see what both teraflex and rock crawler release in the coming months. It fit just like a normal jl.

i like those little cube lights in the bumper. Are those plumbed into the six switches? Did you have to drill holes or was there a bracket for them? Which brand are the lights?
Thanks,
T

Very nice!!

They are the original wheels - correct? So it is possible to put 37s on the original wheel?

I'm thinking of just doing 35s, so guess that would be okay also? Any sense if 35s with regular Rubi suspension (aka no additional lift) would be okay without rubbing or any other issues.

If there's a go to thread on 35s - what fits etc. would love anyone to point me in that direction.
A person on youtube shows his jeep with 35's on stock rims with stock height. He shows at what point it would rub which would be above what most people would put their jeep through. To make it clear, the percent of most people is smaller in a forum like this ;-)

We've heard that the 4xe Mopar list will be available May 1st. I know Teraflex just got their 4xe a couple days ago, and I know of one owner who is sending theirs to Rock Krawler for lift engineering.
The options will be coming!
Teraflex said last week expect Aug for their 4xe lifts.

I am thinking Mopar lift once released for ordering on May 1st w/ adjustable track bars from JKS as I manage a service department for a FCA dealership and I can buy the Mopar lift for a great price.

Curious to know what other owners are planning on or waiting for?

Previously I owned a 2500 Cummins with Carli suspension and could not have been happier.

But looks like multiple people with 4xe went with the current JL Terra Flex lifts on the 4xe so guess that works?
I read one person was having spring bow issues

so this might rub?

I’ll have find that video - are spacers an option for a little more clearance or frowned upon?

With the large weight difference in the 4xe, I would rather wait for the lift based on the new engineering calculations or just get a spacers lift. The spacer lift is not a bad idea if you are mainly street or light to medium trail. You are guaranteed a known ride quality with spacers. I did an AEV lift on a JKU and went between rancho adjustables and the bilstiens trying to get happy with the ride. Also went with ridge grappler load C at first, but swapped out to Bridgestone Revo 3 P rated in same size. P rated tires are guaranteed ride quality as well. I was looking for a aggressive look that could good light to med off-road if I wanted. I don’t think Load E tires are for me. I would probably do BFG load Cs though.

I don’t remember the brand. Haven’t wired them up to the aux switches yet.. Gonna do that this week when I get around to installing the inner fenders and tailgate reinforcement/spacer. No drilling of holes since this is a jk hardrock bumper, the jl bumper has 3 holes there instead of 4.

i like those little cube lights in the bumper. Are those plumbed into the six switches? Did you have to drill holes or was there a bracket for them? Which brand are the lights?
Thanks,

I purchased my 4xe at the beginning of the month with a 2 “ lift kit installed by the dealer for the 4xe. Went trail riding and the front spring bowed out. This caused a clunking sound since it is now hitting the bump stop. They told me that the engineers are working on it and the lift has need recalled. I am just waiting.

Nena Barlow has a couple 4xe's in house now and one will be getting the full Nena treatment. We're watching with great anticipation!
