Hello all,

I've recently bought a 2022 392 with a tazer already installed. I took my time to learn how to use it and set it up how i like it.

Went offroading the other day, thinking that 4x4 was engaged and quickly got stuck in a not soo good location.

Tried to engage the difflocks without success and just kept digging myself inn worse and worse.

After some minutes, my friends noticed that my front tires were not spinning at all (note that FORCE 2WD was not engaged, and the 4H part time light on the dashboard was ON)

I got frustrated and just pulled the taser out... seems this got the 4x4 engaged and i was able to engaged the difflocks and get myself out in seconds.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation with the TAZER ? Any advise on how to make sure it doesn't happen again?

At this point i've unmarried the tazer and considering not to reinstall it.

Thanks

That's pretty concerning. I haven't experienced it myself, but I'd definitely make sure the Tazer is updated to the latest firmware if you decide to use it again. Since removing it immediately restored 4WD and allowed the lockers to engage, I'd be suspicious that either a setting got enabled unintentionally or there was some sort of communication glitch. Personally, after something like that happening while off-road, I'd probably leave it uninstalled until I figured out exactly what caused it.
