Agreed, saw your other post. But force RWD with a tazer as @Huntingbigun is doing is not enough. Either update to new tazer version or update tc setting with something should turn off the service 4WD MIL.
I am not using forced rwd, I have atlas transfer case and used Tazer to unselect full time and using a 3.6 transfer case module that works to trick all indicators and lights

I'm seeing two DCTM part numbers, 68483374AC for 2021 and 68547691aa for 2022. @1996cc when you went to the tazer, did it fix your dash 4H Auto screen as well? It appears that the DCTMs are different for every year, and guessing that if you choose the wrong year other bad things could happen?

I got the one for my same year. That’s the safe bet. Yes, the Tazer allows it to show just 2H, 4H, N, 4L like it should.
Although, the Atlas can’t allow it to show N, otherwise you couldn’t do front digs. So it shows 4L in neutral. But that’s an Atlas thing, not a Jeep, DTCM, or tazer issue.

How much gear noise are you noticing on the highway compared to your factory transfer case?

very little, the factory is chain driven where the atlas is all gear to gear,

Zero. Only in 4 low and it’s minimal there.

Ok guys, sorry to ask again. My mechanic is having a very hard time getting the Atlas to function in my 392. He installed the new DTCM and said it will not communicate with the computer. When he uses the original DTCM, the Taser seems to be working and he can see the 2H, 4H and 4L on the dash. Is it still necessary to change the DTCM if you are using the updated Taser program? Thanks for any help you can give.

I just installed my Atlas with the factory DTCM and it doesn't work. You do need to install a NON 392 Rubicon DTCM.

Thanks for the info and I printed the instructions. He got it working and all appears to be running correctly with no error codes and 2H 4H N 4L showing on the dash. Next up will be axles and PSC.

The new DTCM is in. I don't know if that is more the Taser or the flash that was finally able to take the new DTCM.

I have been looking through Advance Adapters web and looking for a break-in period or routine. Have not found it, I saw the early oil change recommendation. I there a best practice for breaking in a new Atlas? Thanks for any information.

Shift it. A lot.

A year later mine is still getting a little bit smoother each time I shift it.

I didn't get the 2wd light indicator with the Tazer mod only. I did get the 2wd indicator after swapping to a 3.6 Rubicon DTCM for my model year 2023 in conjunction with the Tazer mod..
