Does anyone recall seeing a 3d print file for a drip rail solution that keeps water from coming in when the door is opened?
im going to try to rig something up and see if it will work and be removable . if it works i will post it up , but there are tons of cheap junk u can buy online already for that purpose

i dont mind the water running in. i love the rain so yeah lol

but some it drives nuts which i love lol

Really appreciate this thread, thought I'd also share my recent 3d print I did. It's really specific to my needs but maybe someone else could use it.. It's a TPU print for my Google pixel watch that fits in the middle of my 2d sport since I don't have power windows ?

I don't have the STLs anywhere online but will share when I do

I will admit that this is a remix of 2 other prints I found online and this is also the first version - i've actually done 2 more versions where the front is cut out more and the cable routes to the front instead of the back

I suppose I probably should have posted something in this section about that. Here is my write up on the design and my GMRS install.

your design is the one i was saying is a better more clean design !!
good to see more people posting stuff
nice , i see yours sits on top and the radio hangs from it , im guessing you can reverse your design to act as a tray ! like flipped , can u secure it with zip ties as well ? mine seem to get saggy if i dont use asa or petg

Yes, I thought about possibly mounting it flipped. If I would have mounted it on the driver side I would have probably flipped it. I have not tried to attach zip ties to it when mounted flipped, but the cutout for the crossbar would be going in the wrong direction, and the ziptie holes internally match the curve. It would probably hold fine, but would not be as "clean" and it could put excess pressure on the ziptie if over tightened. I do not have any sag currently, but it is something I am keeping an eye on. I printed it with 3D Fuel Pro PLA+ that was recommended to me by a local shop when I was designing and printing some two piece film reel shelf brackets for a friend of mine. It made a difference in the brackets.

try asa its great for inside the cabin of a auto , just fussy when printing
i only use pla+ when making normal daily prints , and use petg or asa for stuff like this
duramic pla+ is fantastic should give it a whirl one day
im currently printing out the parts to make another voron printer , petg and asa for every darn part

Not sure if this is the right spot but I’m looking for someone to help 3d print jeep parts? I’m looking for a replacement to the JL rubicon front fender flare lower bracket. It’s the little plastic honey comb thing to brace the bottom of the flare from flapping in the wind. I’d happily pay for the work. What would you need to make these for left and right?

It's likely cheaper & easier to get one from Mopar parts. It can't cost that much & for someone to draw it up and print it would take quite a bit of time & effort.

The part isn’t sold alone. It only comes as part of a larger assembly for around $500 bucks. I was thinking it would be easier to just fab a replacement bracket that did the same thing.

There’s not a part number listed. This is a picture of the part (it’s a little triangle wedge thing that sits in the back of the front fender toward the bottom at the rear
