Need 2 inch lift minimum on a rubicon- for no rub.
Not even that will cut it. I'm running the Mopar 2" lift which netted me closer to 3". I'm running 37" KM3s (and being that they're BFGs, they're not even close to truly being 37") and still rub the fenders at the rear when articulating the gnarliest driveways and curbs. It ain't the end of the world and isn't damaging anything, but they definitely make contact.

That’s promising, have you flexed it out?

Edit: I just noticed your rubicon badging, that looks real slick

What wheels do you have? 37" BFGs have about 35.5" real diameter and they should not rub with Mopar 2" lift and something like 17x9, offset -6 wheels.

I'm running the Mopar 17" Slotted Off-Road wheels.

I believe their offset is only 5.22, so they stick further out than the OEM wheels and not quite as much as the beadlocks. They rub on the inner fender liner in the rear where they pass beyond the fender and into the bumper corners, but again, they aren't hurting anything.

i flexed it as much as i can given that i live in the Midwest...lol. Having said that, just because i can does not mean i will be going rock crawling and risk damaging my now +$60K Jeep..

Tire Rack shows the BFG T/A as an overall diameter of 36.5

Unfortunately, the real diameter is with BFG KO2 much smaller. I don't know why it's so much different but you can easily find the real values here at this forum. I have BFG KO2 315/70R17 which should be 34.4" but they are 33.5".

Thanks! I usually rely on Tire Rack's dimensions, but this is good info and disappointing.

Yep Mopar beadlocks stick out a bit more. No rub - been on the Rubicon and aired down to 8psi on the Pismo dunes just ripping it…still no rub

On the 37” tires on a rubicon XR stock keep in mind the front bumps are 2” lower.

Are you rims mopars? I have the XR wheels that are 17x8. Am I good to put 37’s with a 2” lift?

yes of course. i try to stay OEM whenever i can and i think these wheels along with perhaps KMC beadlocks look the best on these jeeps.
