I think I have got about all you can get out of a stock rubicon XR suspension with a few mods. Front3/4” spacer for more space between front bumps that come lower from factory on XR, longer front shocks to get max droop. Rear bump extension taken off, and rear sway bar disconnected.

Once again I understand all that. Trying to find out if indeed jeep do put some extra long bumps on a few and if they did has anyone talked to jeep about it.

I had read that jeep had mistakenly put some longer bumps on some XR is the reason I was asking. I am aware of lots of the other options for a fix. and jeep on the 23 xr model has twice the amount of up travel i have on my 21. But thanks

I like the on road ride with the JT fox shocks but when i get a hour or so i am putting my stock Rubicon shocks back on, i hate the JT fox shocks off road, bottom all the time on slights bump and i am talking slow speeds. Mainly the front.

I had read that, but i thought it was the rears that were soft, but oh well i still got my stock red shocks just really like the road ride of the foxs but bottom out very easy in front, guess you cannot have all huh. Thanks

I put Jt rubicon fox shocks on our JLU xr and it does ride better on road but seems to bottom easier in front off road but the xr has lowered bump stops. Anybody running the fox shocks off gladiator rubicon seem to agree on bottoming out easier? Thanks
