What to do. what to do. I have been pricing out getting a regear and tires for my 6 sp Rubicon.
But now I'm thinking that getting a new one with the Recon package might be a better choice considering you get a lot of extras in that package.
I'd get the auto this time around. I could get a decent price for my jeep considering it has less than 30,000 miles.
Kinda my thought process with my Gladiator. I already have to regear with my 35s and at some point add a locker or two. I really haven't needed the bed and Wranglers are a little bit cheaper.

Order confirmed 26 JUL 22
Diesel JLUR
Reign purple.
Only option I checked was the tailgate reinforcement

Yep. 2023 Sahara Altitude. I am going to cancel. It actually worked out for me (I think) because when I ordered, I only got 1% below invoice, but (I think) I'm going to place an order for a different Jeep at Dan Cummins for 5% below with my FCA friends and family code.

My current dealer did tell me that they weren't building any Wranglers with cold weather anymore which I don't know that I necessarily believe based on the feedback I've gotten from you all so far.

On a side note, there has been a lot of back and forth on Sahara Altitudes - not going to be produced for 2023, then are going to be produced but will be "Late Availability". I was able to order my Altitude back in June, but when the guy from Cummins went in to do my same build, the option to build a Sahara Altitude didn't exist in his system (he showed me a screen shot). So, if anyone has a Sahara Altitude (or Sport Altitude for that matter) on order and your order appears stuck, you may want to contact your dealer to find out what's going on. I don't want to stir the pot or worry anyone but I don't want you to waste any time if they aren't going to be producing the Altitudes after all. Do with that information what you will and best of luck to everyone that ordered.
So they aren’t producing the high Altitude? I ordered the HA on June 9th, with the cold weather group as well, got a VIN but been stuck on D status the whole time? I’m going to freak if I can’t have that, waited so long to pull the trigger.

I haven’t heard any issues with the High Altitude. The concern has been about the regular Altitude.

Tracker and jeep chat are of no use. Ordered 7/7, got my VIN from the dealer and confirmed that it is in ‘D’ status. Looks like folks who ordered in early June have a ship date in late august. Folks like me who ordered early or mid July don’t have a ship date yet. If anyone does please let me know
Ordered June 9th and still in D status

My order was confirmed on June 20th and scheduled on July 6th. My dealer had a von and vin for me on 6/23, and I was relayed a tentative build date of 8/19.
Sarge green JLU rubicon, xr package, 2.0 turbo, body color hard top and fenders, cold weather, led’s, trail cam, and tan leather seats (I think that’s all off the top of my head)

Thanks, yes I have been using that, just did not know it was called the pizza tracker. Appreciate your response. Thank you
It's because it looks like pizza tracker apps like Domino's, to track your pizza order ;)

Is Jeep Chat no longer a thing? I guess they got tired of wasting time with people asking for order updates. I'm assuming that's why they added the "pizza tracker" but that thing is useless. I've had a VIN for over a month now and the tracker shows nothing except that the order was accepted and scheduled.

If you're order is a 2023, nobody has a VIN showing on the tracker yet. That's because they haven't started building them yet. Once they start building that model year, the tracker will start showing the VIN's. On the 2022 orders, the tracker was updated almost immediately with the VIN's.

I guess I just don’t understand the purpose of a tracker that withholds information that is readily available elsewhere. Has it been accurate and up to date with 2022 orders?
