I surprised to see a lot of folks have ordered the manual given that it is known to stink.

A poopy manual is still more fun than a good automatic. Also a helluva lot cheaper. Also the only way to currently get a regular Penstastar. Have to get etorque or turbo 4's or diesel if you want an automatic.

I'd maybe have ordered an automatic if I could get the regular Penstastar and no upcharge, but at $4,000 to get an automatic with etorque.. I'll shift my own gears. That's like getting every mod I want for free plus a year of free gas.

Anybody else notice the Pizza tracker isn't working? It might just be me because I requested a color change.

I contacted my dealer today and he gave me the VIN and said it looks like production of my jeep started this week with an estimated ship date of 8/24. He said to expect it arriving sometime mid September.

Has anyone gotten their dealer to sign a buyer's order to lock the price? My local dealer agreed to honor the 1% below invoice affiliate reward discount. When I asked about a price lock agreement, he said that it can only be done with a valid VIN, so we have to wait for Jeep to provide the VIN. Ordered 07/13/22, have a VON but no VIN yet (checked with the dealer today). The only thing I have now is the POC sheet which just shows the MSRP total.

Ordered July 15th, VOC same day (w/ $1K deposit). No progress since then...wanting some sympathetic friends in this test of patience that I did not thoroughly think thru. But I wanted what I wanted. Look forward to watching your info updates and will return the favor.????

Yes, 2 door. Lol can't believe I left that out. Only way to do a Wrangler IMHO. 2 door + manual = rare buyer

I was happy to get confirmation that mine is actually a D1 status and not just D. Ordered 6/15. VIN 6/21, Build Date 8/25 (we shall see).

My dealer told me my build date. Jeep chat seems to have information somewhere in between what the pizza tracker has and what the dealer can access.

For those that have received a VIN, how long after placing your order did that take?

I got my VIN about a week after I placed my order from my dealer. (July 13) Tracker still don’t show me as having a VIN yet though. Not sure how long it takes for tracker to update and show a VIN.

Probably won’t show until they start building the 2023’s in a couple weeks
